Homopolar Motor
A client-side simulation bench for the simplest electric motor there is: a battery, a magnet and a bent wire. It recovers the torque on a current path from a numerically simulated magnetic field rather than from a formula, locates the geometries where the motor spins, stalls and reverses, and reproduces both published sides of the Faraday paradox with their own measurements without adjudicating between them. Simulation only; not a build guide. Faraday's 1821 device is public domain; this is an independent reimplementation and every source read or unread is listed in CREDITS.txt.
