An independent tool, NOT affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Nature, Nature Portfolio or Springer Nature: the name refers to the open project mumdark/nature-review-studio this app is derived from, not to the journal. Drop a manuscript (PDF, Word, LaTeX, Markdown, plain text, OpenDocument, RTF, EPUB) and get the desk check free in your browser: structure and section word counts, the figure and table inventory with caption presence, reference-format consistency, the citation cross-check in both directions, statistical-reporting gaps, and the ethics, data-availability and competing-interests statements. The metered pass adds the reviewer judgement — a 2–5 reviewer panel chosen from the manuscript's method fingerprint, an editor letter with a revision-level band, cross-review consensus and a revision task table — and every figure, table, section, reference and statistic it cites is checked back against your paper. The band is this tool's own assessment, never a journal's decision, and nothing it produces is a substitute for real peer review.
