One Storage Quota, and Pro Is Back: $9 a Month for 10 GB

SkillSafe now has exactly one storage number per account. Skill files, app files, app data records and agent snapshots all draw from the same quota: 50 MB on Free, 10 GB on the relaunched $9/month Pro plan, and 10 GB per seat, pooled, on Team — where each seat also receives $10 of app credit a month.
Updated September 2026: the numbers below are unchanged. The one change since July is on the compute side — the flat per-run overhead that used to sit inside every app run’s base price is now $0, so a run is priced on tokens alone.

Credits are the same unit on every row: $1 = 10,000 credits, so $10 of seat credit is 100,000 credits.
Why one quota
As the Apps platform grew, so did the number of places your bytes could live: skill archives, app frontend releases, files your apps store for users, JSONB records in app collections, agent snapshots. Each had its own cap, and none of them added up to a number you could reason about. Meters like that don’t inform — they just accumulate asterisks.
Now there’s one quota, and everything debits it. The storage bar on your billing page shows the total, colored by type, so you can see at a glance whether it’s your skills or your apps’ records doing the eating. Apps can read the same picture — their caller’s real used/limit meters — via GET /v1/app-api/storage, so an app that stores files for you can show you an honest gauge instead of a guess.

The unification costs us something, and it’s worth being explicit about what. Not every byte is equally cheap to keep. Object storage at list price runs $0.015 per GB-month with free egress (Cloudflare R2 pricing), while database disk — where your app’s JSONB records live — lists at $0.125 per GB-month above the included allowance (Supabase pricing), roughly 8x the object rate. A single quota charges you the same gigabyte either way. We’d rather absorb that difference than hand you two meters and a conversion table.
Pro, relaunched: $9 for 10 GB
Pro is back, and it’s deliberately simple: $9 per month takes one personal account from 50 MB to 10 GB (20% off billed yearly). It also raises your hosted-app cap from 5 to 200. That’s the whole plan — no gated security features, no paywalled verification.
For scale, 10 GB is a 200x jump from Free, and it is generous against how developer platforms usually size a storage allowance: GitHub Packages includes 500 MB on a free account, 2 GB on Pro and 50 GB on Enterprise Cloud (GitHub Packages billing). Model hubs sit in a different weight class because their artifact is a multi-gigabyte checkpoint — Hugging Face gives a free account 100 GB of private storage (Hugging Face storage limits) — which is the right comparison to make if you plan to host weights, and the wrong one if you are storing skills, app bundles and records.
Team: 10 GB per seat, pooled — plus $10 of credit each
Team stays $20 per seat per month, and each seat now contributes 10 GB to a pooled org quota — an 8-person org shares 80 GB, allocated wherever it’s needed rather than stranded per member.
Pooled means pooled: there is no separate personal allowance sitting on top. Every member’s own storage — their private skills, drive files, app data, snapshots — draws on the same org total, and each member’s individual limit is the whole pool. One person can use all 80 GB as long as the org stays under 80 GB. Your billing page shows what the rest of the org is holding as Used by other accounts, so a bar that moved without you touching anything reads as shared rather than as a bug. Drop a seat or end the subscription and the pool resizes immediately. Hosted apps are unlimited on Team and Enterprise.
Per-seat pooling is the shape the rest of the industry has converged on — Hugging Face’s Team plan includes “1TB of private storage per seat,” so a 40-member org holds 40 TB in one pool — and it is the only model that survives a team where one member owns the big artifacts and nine own almost nothing.
Each seat also receives $10 of app credit every month (100,000 credits), landing directly in that member’s wallet. Seat grants expire 31 days after they land and are always spent before money you topped up yourself — use it or lose it, but never instead of your own balance.
What didn’t change
Credits still work the same way: $1 = 10,000 credits, runs are metered at actual token usage with the estimate shown up front, and no subscription is ever required to run an app — Free and Pro accounts buy the same credit packs and spend them identically.
